The mini cat is my cute cross stitch design loved by many on my blog Happiness is Cross Stitching, many of you have taken him to heart and send me your completed photos of your completed mini cats, and I thought it would be nice for mini cat to have his own blog where you can post all your completed mini cat cross stitch!

If you wish to post your completed mini cat cross stitch from my mini cat range you are welcome to do so here, just email me for an invite and I will send you the link for you to post.

You can post work in progress and then your completed design. Please describe what materials you used to stitch your design as this helps anyone who wishes to stitch the same pattern.

Please centre your picture in the middle with materials listed underneath and label your mini cat using the right hand column in post settings when writing your post.

That's it, happy mini cat stitching!

Peggie - Time for Tea

I stitched a mini version of Lynn’s Time for Tea design to fit  a 4 x 6 frame.  I don’t  think my photo shows how sweet the strawberries look in person with the two different shades of red…very authentic.

This was stitched on Charles Craft Silver Standard 14 count aida  and I used DMC floss

Peggie: Another Birthday Mini Cat

This is the first time when stitching a Birthday Mini Cat I didn't backstitch the balloons and envelope with black.  Not sure, but I think I prefer the black.  I also decided to use the floss from each colour balloon as the string to the envelope.  I may not do that again as some colours don’t show up as well as others.  My friend who I stitched this for loves the colour green so I personalized it for her.  She is from the Philippines and moved to Canada years ago and more recently to Quebec where we met in French school.  I had hoped to stitch down each side in smaller stitching two more birthday wishes covering all her languages, but Maligayang Kaarawn (Tagalog) and Joyeux Anniversaire (French) were too long, so I only used  Quebecois and English.

This was stitched on 14 count DMC Charlescraft Gold Standard Aida cloth and I used DMC floss

Peggie - September/Autumn Mini Cat

Like Julie, Lynn’s beautiful Autumn design spoke to me and I knew I had to stitch a Mini Cat in that scene.  I wanted the finished size to be 4 x 6 to fit the frame I'm using for the other Monthly Mini Cats so I stitched the tree and birdhouse taller. Where I live our leaves have started to turn colours and will be in their prime late September, so this little Mini will be perfect to display then. The birds I stitched are supposed to be Canada geese that start to migrate South in late September.

I used 14 count DMC Charlescraft Gold Standard Aida cloth and DMC floss.

Peggie's Love To Quilt

I think Lynn might have out done herself on this beautiful design.  I enjoyed stitching it and look forward to giving it to my sister...the quilter in the family.  I stitched it on 14 count Aida cloth and used DMC floss. I think the back stitching on the quilt gives it a real wow factor.

Peggie's September Mini Cats

I used 14 count aida and DMC floss.  I changed the yellow slightly on the second one I stitched for greater contrast.

Love to Quilt stitched

Love to Quilt mini cat finished!
I quite enjoyed stitching Love to Quilt mini cat, it was a bit difficult
to follow the pattern but I got there eventually.
I am going to do a blue version.

I used my usual 32 Count Murano fabric
and DMC threads.

I stitched 4 mini cats for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The trees and leaves in the Autumn picture is from Lynn's recent design of a cross stitch pillow which had an Autumn theme.

Stitched on 14 count cream Aida.
Multi aperture frame, 30 x30cm (12 x 12in). 4 x4 x 4in (10 x10cm aperture. Purchased from Hobby craft store.
